  • We do not sell tickets for future events on-site. If you are interested in purchasing tickets please visit our Events Listing page

    The venue is not liable for any third party ticketing, or tickets purchased for the wrong event.

  • Re-entry is not permitted at Avant Gardner events unless otherwise noted. If you purchase tickets to two events happening simultaneously at Avant Gardner, you will not be able to walk freely between the two events (though you may leave one event to go to another, you will not be able to re-enter the room you left).

  • We have bag & coat check year-round, and it costs $6. There are no size or weight restrictions for checked items, meaning your baggage is fine if you're coming straight from or going to the airport.

    • Sunglasses

    • Earplugs

    • Phone charging case or phone charger

    • Small bags (bags larger than 8.5” x 10” will initially be searched, then must be checked-in at our bag/coat check)

    • Cigarettes, e-cigarettes and lighters

    • LED gloves or glow-sticks

    • Backpacks, large totes, large purses, duffle bags, camelbaks, and any bags larger than 8.5” x 10”. Bags larger than 8.5” x 10” will initially be searched, then must be checked-in at our bag/coat check

    • Weapons of any kind including utility knives, tools, and imitation weapons (toys)

    • Stuffed animals & balloons

    • Unsealed eye drops

    • CBD, THC, or cylindrical tobacco cartridges

    • Illegal substances

    • Outside food or beverages

    • Chewing gum

    • Glass or metal containers of any kind

    • No cameras or audio/video recording devices or equipment of any kind (excluding mobile phones)

    • Drones or hover cameras

    • Laser pointers

    • Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles

    • Totems, hula-hoops or poi

    • Large umbrellas (personal sized are okay)

    • Selfie sticks

    • Pets

    • No illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed

  • The following documents will be accepted as proof of age for entry:

    • A valid driver's license or state-, territory-, or province-issued ID card from the US or Canada

    • A valid passport

    • A valid military ID from the US

    • A temporary ID from the US Department of Motor Vehicles, along with the expired ID it is replacing

    • A Global Entry card issued by the US

    • U.S. Permanent Resident Cards

    All documents must be physically present upon entry (no photographs/scans).

    Here are a few things that WILL NOT count as valid ID:

    • All Foreign ID documents, including Foreign Driver's Licenses (only valid Passports/Visas are acceptable)

    • International Drivers Licenses

    • NYC ID cards

    • University or high school ID cards

    • Photographs of identification

    • Digital forms of identification

  • Avant Gardner is a cashless venue. For bar, food, and merchandise purchases, link your wristband to your credit card upon entry. You may also preload your wristband with cash. Prepaid wristbands can be topped up at the Box Office or Guest Relations.

  • There is no formal dress code for any event at Avant Gardner. Shoes, tops and bottoms are required for entry at every event unless otherwise noted.

    21+ ID required for purchase of alcohol.

    If you have food & beverage related allergies or restrictions, please contact relations@avant-gardner.com for accommodations prior to arrival.

  • • All guests are subject to search and must present a valid ID for entry

    • Guests who appear to be intoxicated will be denied entry

    • Presenting a fake ID, assisting an underaged person to enter the venue, and/or allowing another person to use their ID, will result in denied entry and a ban from future events.

  • Avant Gardner does not tolerate discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, race, or religion. Non-binary people are welcome to use any bathroom they choose at the venue. Anybody found harassing other guests will be escorted from the venue.

  • Lost something at the event? Please visit the Guest Relations desk to file a report or visit our lost & found page.

  • We care about you more than you know. Medical staff is located throughout the event and trained EMTs will be on-hand to address any and all medical incidents.

    If you see anyone at the event who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team, or even help him/her find their way to the medical area. We are all in this together, so please look out for one another!

  • If you need to have any kind of prescription on your person at all times, it must be verified by an on-site medic prior to entry. Prescriptions will only be allowed into the venue in the original prescription bottle/container with the name of the guest printed on the label. Mixed medications in unmarked bottles are not allowed.

  • DICE and Resident Advisor are Avant Gardner’s only authorized ticketing providers. The venue is not responsible for any issues that may arise with third party ticket companies or resellers.

  • For any inquiries regarding medical concerns or ADA related services please contact our Relations team at relations@avant-gardner.com up to 24 hours prior to arrival and a team member will contact you to discuss accommodations.

    Based on changes made to Key to NYC by Mayor Adams, effective March 7, 2022, proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status will no longer be required for patrons entering the venue unless otherwise noted in the event description.

    Please observe and comply with signage and guidelines posted throughout venue. Do your part to practice good hygiene (wash your hands frequently, don’t touch your face). If you're not feeling well, please stay home and get well.
